Rehearsal/Performance Schedule

Rehearsals, Performances, and the like

Golden State British Brass Band events as currently scheduled are indicated below. The basic rehearsal format is:

Second and Fourth Sundays: afternoon (2:00 - 5:00 p.m.) rehearsal.
Fifth Sundays: Only as needed, rehearsals may be scheduled on an ad hoc basis. When this is done, adequate advance notice will be given.

Important Notice: As of November 5, 2009 our permanent rehearsal site is now the United Methodist Church of La Mirada. Please see this page for maps, directions, and other information. All musicians will need to bring music stands to rehearsals at this location(!)

2010

Sunday, March 14: Rehearsal, UMC of La Mirada, 2:00-5:00 PM
Sunday, March 28: Rehearsal, UMC of La Mirada, 3:00-5:30 PM
Sunday, April 11: Rehearsal, UMC of La Mirada, 7:00-9:30 PM
Sunday, April 25: Concert, UMC of La Mirada, 3:00 PM (2:15 PM call). British Tea after concert at 4:15 PM; band members invited for free, guests must pay the $20/person cost.
Sunday, May 9: Rehearsal, UMC of La Mirada, 7:00-9:30 PM
Sunday, May 23: Rehearsal, UMC of La Mirada, 2:00-5:00 PM
Sunday, June 13: Rehearsal, UMC of La Mirada, 2:00-5:00 PM
Sunday, June 27: Rehearsal, UMC of La Mirada, 2:00-5:00 PM
Sunday, August 29: Concert, Nixon Library, Yorba Linda. 2:00 PM.
