Rehearsals, Performances, and the like

Golden State British Brass Band events as currently scheduled are indicated below. The basic rehearsal format is:

Second and Fourth Sundays: evening (5:00 - 8:00 p.m.) rehearsal.
Fifth Sundays: Only as needed, rehearsals may be scheduled on an ad hoc basis. When this is done, adequate advance notice will be given.

Important Notice: As of November 5, 2009 our permanent rehearsal site is now the United Methodist Church of La Mirada. Please see this page for maps, directions, and other information. All musicians will need to bring music stands to rehearsals at this location(!)

Sunday, January 8: Rehearsal, 5:00 - 8:00 PM, UMCLM
Sunday, January 22: Rehearsal, 5:00 - 8:00 PM, UMCLM
Sunday, February 19: Rehearsal, 5:00 - 8:00 PM, UMCLM. Note the non-standard date! Our rehearsal space is not available on the 2nd Sunday (2/12).
Sunday, February 26: Concert at Disneyland, Anaheim. Time will not be known until about 3 weeks prior.
Sunday, March 11: Rehearsal, 5:00 - 8:00 PM, UMCLM
Sunday, March 25: Rehearsal, 5:00 - 8:00 PM, UMCLM
Sunday, April 8: Rehearsal, 5:00 - 8:00 PM, UMCLM (This is Easter Sunday. I'll verify. -BD)
Sunday, April 22: Rehearsal, 5:00 - 8:00 PM, UMCLM
Saturday, May 12: Special rehearsal, 5:00 - 7:00 PM, Episcopal Church of St. Andrew, Fullerton
Sunday, May 13: Concert (time TBD), Episcopal Church of St. Andrew, Fullerton. This concert will feature the music of Rodney Newton, who is scheduled to conduct some of his pieces. Guest soloist Beth Mitchell will feature in Newton's Capriccio for Tuba.
Sunday, May 27: Rehearsal, 5:00 - 8:00 PM, UMCLM
